Summer Vacation: Day 5

It's almost the end of day 6 and only now did I have the time to even open my laptop. I've been roaming around almost all day yesterday and today that I'm totally exhausted. I've been going around San Jose visiting friends of dad and most of them are people who I either met when I was a small kid and don't remember that much or people whom I haven't even met before.Its actually nice to hear them talk about their experiences with dad and it made me so happy each and every time they said that I look like a smaller version of my dad. They kept saying that the way I walk, talk, smile, laugh and even look resembles my dad from 20 years back. I start smiling each and every time someone gives this comment :) I guess I've inherited my dad's genes as far as looks are concerned.By now, everyone reading my blog knows that the only way I meet up with my relatives and friends is over either lunch or dinner. So there I was, stomach bursting from a full blown south indian lunch summed up by fresh hot tea thinking of how much pounds I had gained from that lunch but at the same time, thinking of the dinner plans that I had made with another friend of my dad's. I was actually looking forward to this dinner for a long long time because as a kid, I was really close to this aunt and I was going to meet her now after 15 years.I wasn't that surprised to see her looking almost exactly the same way even now as she did back then. Me and Shobhana aunty went to this really amazing Asian fusion food place followed up by some delicious coffee and dessert at another place which I probably would have never gone to on my own because its too expensive :DToday was even more exciting and tiring than yesterday and tomorrow is going to be even more exciting. My vacation has picked up pace all of a sudden and everything is turning into a blur of activities and memories that's going to last a lifetime.  Cannot wait to begin making more memories!
