Our very own oscar selfie
It's been a long time since I wrote my last blog post. So many things have changed in my life since then till now. New place, new job and more importantly, newer people in my life.Change is good...change is interesting in the way it defines how my life going forward. But in the midst of all this, I recently went on a "mini" vacation with my friends from my past life (yes I am being sarcastic :P )This past 4th of July weekend, my undergraduate buddies and I went on this trip covering almost 2000 miles in 4 days spanning 3 different states. The last time I had seen them was 4 years back in May 2010 when we all graduated from St.Joseph's college of engineering back in India. This has been the most fun I've had in a long time. So many memories and moments that we relived, so many things that have changed in each of our lives and how that's influenced our attitudes and behavior and not to mention, how much american food has altered us physically haha :DThere was me from San Antonio, Texas, a guy from Cincinnati, two from Kansas City, one from Atlanta and one guy who came all the way to the US of A from Canada. I have no idea how time flew by and before we knew it, we were already at the airport waiting for our flight back home :(I got to admit, I never knew I had so much energy in me to keep going on like I did those 4 days. Water rafting, playing cricket whenever time permitted, teaching the locals the game of cricket and how similar it was to baseball, going for a boat ride to the island near the place where we stayed, playing cards in the middle of the night...so much in so little time.Well..this one is from our rafting experience ;)In case u are wondering where we went for the trip, it was this place called Munising in Michigan. Beautiful little town, awesome weather and great food too. I only wish we had a little bit longer. As the time came for us to part ways, we did what everyone does these days - THE SELFIE :DThis is a picture that I will relish for years to come. Thanks to some awesome editing skills and a really good camera (iPhone 5S), we all have a photo that is worth hanging on the wall.
Till next time,Cheers,KP.S: I am definitely not checking my credit card statement this month :P
