To be Pampered or Loved?
Pampering weakens you. Love creates you. Pampering works with our ego while love on our ego. Pampering is a mere facade wanting to appear nice. Love has the courage to risk being mistaken and always is the constructive critic.
Pampering will sinfully leave you as you. Love will even dare to risk the friendship to create the friend. Pampering is like boozing. It gives you a joyful evening but in the end, nothing about you will change. Love is like meditation. It may seem as if nothing is happening and yet, everything about you will change.
Crave to be loved and created. Not to be pampered to stagnation. Pampering spoils you but you feel that you like it. Love can be harsh at times, because in the end, it wants you to be happy and full.
If you want to be pleased, then I ask you to be the pampered person but IF, you want to be appreciated for whom you truly are , then PLEASE be loved and not pampered. Pampering brings out the good in you but it is love and only love which has the strange magic of bringing out the best in you.
Pampering lets you be...but love sweeps you off your feet and brings in you the change you wish to see :) Pampering doesn’t let you get hurt but love doesn’t mind seeing you cry, if that’s what it takes to express itself in full measures.
Pampering is for the lazy while love won’t hesitate for even a split second to take a stick and cane you around to get the work done :) Pampering is a wonderful mirage hiding all the painful realities and making everything a dream which would definitely wear off some day. Love in its most cruel form shows only the reality and prepares you for the worst yet. Don’t shrug at the fact because living is all about accepting and nothing about denial.
It’s always better to be loved and get hurt rather than being pampered into thinking that something will happen just because we want it to :) Because in the end, in most cases, we never get what we want. We just need to be happy with what we get :) that’s going to make life more beautiful and mesmerizing, for both us and the people around us. Start loving :) Start living :)
Till next time,
With Love,
Karthik :)
